the scary thing is this breed is becoming a TREND, there not a breed that can normally be rehomed. Or at least not with your normal dog owner. They are a very dangerous breed and not for first time dog owners. Corsos becoming a trend is very, very dangerous. I'd hate to see them get the same rep as pit bulls and bully breeds.

I have a 3 year old 140 lb male. Before the Corso, i had German shepherds, Rottweilers, and English Mastiffs. The work and dedication comments are accurate. But, the work and dedication that he gives back is worth it. If done right from puppyhood, they’re great. I worry about the wrong people having them.

I love my Cane Corso, He an indoor dog and well trained but if your a stranger then you don't want to come into my home uninvited

Hey so I know this is off topic I just got a puppy and I’m starting crate training tonight, just got her last night. During the day if she decides to lay on my bed and nap can I nap with her as long as I have a timer and take her out as soon as it goes off to keep up with potty training she’s 8 weeks 🥺

A horrible person who should not have had a dog in the first place and now should never be allowed to have any dog or other animal again I love my dogs and this made me sick and sad to the point of tears

I felt it necessary to comment. You make a great point. However, here's where I disagree with you vehemently. Just because you have a small dog does NOT give you a reason to keep them untrained. They don't get a 'get out of jail free' card. That comment really just pissed me off. I get where you're coming from, but everyone should train their dogs or have them trained. It's important. That poor kid.

I just don't understand the need people have to own these frankendogs. I see women in my neighborhood walking these types of animals and they obviously have no control over them. We had a huge 120+ pound freak looking pitbull break loose and come after us a few weeks back. Fortunately my dumb and goofy Bernedoodle has no natural fear of other dogs and went back at him. The pitty backed off and all was well. I think the pitty was actually being playful, but the problem was the lack of control from it's itty bitty owner who should own nothing larger than a Shitzu. I'm in my 50's and I don't remember people having large dogs like this growing up, look at German Shepherds, they are huge compared to what they were like 30 years ago.

Today, WSB-TV announced that in my state, Georgia, an 84 year old woman was attacked by three Cane Corsos while taking her daily walk and was severely mauled including both legs broken. She is having extensive surgery and lucky to be alive! Because of an irresponsible owner, the three Cane Corsos were put down and the woman is fighting for her life!

These dogs are beautiful. Wish I could handle one. Out of respect I’m not going to even try. They’re too majestic
